Tourette Syndrome (TS) camps are family camps. The camp fosters inclusion and delivers activities that create a real and lasting change for individuals touched by TS and their families. Tourette Camps are FUN, ACTIVE, INSPIRATIONAL and jam packed full of acceptance, encouragement, support and genuinely enjoyable activities such as: Instructor-led Indoor and Outdoor Recreation Activities, Swimming, Discos, Campfires, Craft, Games, and Much, Much, More!! It gives everyone the opportunity to socialise with their peers and form meaningful, ongoing friendships.

MEMBERSHIP

TSAA membership is mandatory for all our camps. 

BOOKING INFORMATION AND PRICING

All bookings require a non-refundable fee of $ 150.00 per person

This camp is subsidised for all members.

CAMP SUBSIDY ELIGIBILITY

Please check below if you are eligible for camp subsidy. 

Eligibility criteria for TSAA Camp Program subsidy and attendance

1. Current TSAA membership is required per family or as an individual.

2. Individuals under 18 with TS (must be accompanied by a parent/carer)

3. Individuals over 18 with TS

4. Parents/carer of under 18’s with TS

5. Parents/carer of over 18 with TS

6. Siblings of under 18 with TS

7. Partner/spouse of over 18 with TS

8. The subsidy applies to 1 camp per annum.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Bookings will be confirmed once your current membership is confirmed AND all mandatory forms are received for all participating family members.

All information is required to be completed prior to checkout. 

NDIS

NDIS participants are recommended to use their plan for both themselves and their support workers where applicable.

Plan or fund managed participants: you will need to request the NDIS code from you manager and then email info@tourette.org.au for an invoice to present to your manager.  Once your plan/fund manager confirms with info@tourette.org.au that you have approval you will be sent a code to complete your booking.

Self-managed participants, please select the appropriate ticket option when booking and proceed as usual with your NDIS claim.

We understand that you may not know the personal details of your support worker prior to the camp bookings closing date, so please complete their name, company and contact details. 

INFECTIOUS DISEASE POLICY 

Please do not attend if you have flu-like symptoms, have been advised to test, and/or isolate by health authorities.

TRAVEL SUBSIDY

To support families through financially uncertain times and those experiencing financial hardship, travel subsidies are available for all camps in 2023.
