Tourette Syndrome Association of Australia is volunteer run, nonprofit organisation dedicated to advocating for people with Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders and their families. Raising awareness for Tourette Syndrome in various ways.
We disseminate educational materials in the fields of healthcare, education, welfare services and first responders. We lobby the government, assist with and support research projects, and we talk to the media; ensuring that the TS community is correctly represented and most importantly, heard.
We provide advocacy for our members and assist with challenges they may have with work, school or social settings. We help with school talks, publish newsletters, and provide support by telephone and via an online support group on Facebook.
Members can access our support groups across Australia and can access heavily subsidised places at one of our camps which also run nationally.
Your membership will help ensure that we can continue our valuable work and support the Tourettes community. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Tourette Syndrome or tic disorders.
Please note: all new memberships require the approval of the TSAA Committee. Memberships are approved at the monthly Committee meeting.
